As a protestant I never fully understood why Roman Catholics had devotion to Mary. Thank you for helping me make some sense of this. I can readily agree with everything you have send. I do not think protestants would feel any different about her as you explain her.
This sermon presented a very good picture of Mary's role in the church and in the world, and why she is worthy of our devotion.
